it’s black beans and I cubed up a sweet potato and put it in the microwave for about eight minutes and in the dump the sweet potato in there. It helps hold everything together. I have my quinoa cooking right here and when that’s done. I’ll dump it in the bowl with my black beans. I also on the side, I’m going to make a corn and green pepper almost like succotash and all of these are just olive oil corn green pepper a whole green pepper cut up. I did use frozen corn salt and pepper details this is just a look at the packaging for the quinoa it’s actually brown rice and all you have to do is boil a cup and a half of water and then dump your ingredients in there.
Now we’re just going to dump the quinoa in there .when you start to mix it together. you’re going to be able to tell if the burgers seem like they’re going to stick well if they’re not you can always add a little oatmeal to them just in case. It’s time to make our patties. I make about a ball that’s like this big. I just press it has a really good stickiness to it so I won’t fall apart when I put them on the griddle. I did oil my griddle and I tasted them and I put up. I season it with onion salt and lemon pepper and but you can put whatever seasonings, the ingredients are already cooked. Browning them on both sides once they’re brown on both sides they’re ready to eat.
Tofu Veggie burger recipes
We explain you guys had to make a tofu veggie burger recipes. Let’s get started all the ingredients: I’ve got about 10 ounces of tofu.
I recommend using something homemade if you can get your hands on it or not buying something commercially made. So this has got a lot of liquid in it. Just strain some of this liquid out just using a rag. I have about two tablespoons of edamame. Which is just essentially an immature soybean. we’re going to add that then we’re going to add about two tablespoons of zucchini.we’re going to go ahead and blend this up until everything becomes smooth. Now that’d mommy is steamed and I did steam the zucchini for about 30 seconds. So, I just a little bit of olive oil. We’ll start blending this up so that’s about the consistency, you want right there so the amount of two tablespoons each of chopped cilantro and some fresh parsley .now we’re going to add about two tablespoons of grated carrot, two tablespoons of some broccoli florets,1 tablespoon of some chopped white onion and about 2 tablespoons of freaking couscous.
which won’t come out of the thing, we add this mix here to our tofu. so I’ve got some panko breadcrumbs. we’re gonna add these just kinds of gradually and as you do just mix this with your hand just like that so she usually takes about three to four cups of panko breadcrumbs and what you want to do is just mix it by hand until it stops becoming super moist. It all starts to kind of stick together and they put it starts to form a ball about like this then you know you’re ready so threw down some wax paper. take some balls of this and start to form these into patties. we’ll set these out, we’ll begin frying them .so you want to take some vegetable oil or olive oil. we’ll get this really hot, take it down to the medium.
I’m going ahead and start to set these into the pan, we’ll just begin cooking them.so these need to cook about 8 to 10 minutes. I gave them a flip here as you can see that I’ve turned a real nice brown kind of crispy on the outside. we’ll let that cook on the other side for about an additional 8 minutes and then they’ll be ready to eat.set them on a paper towel to absorb a little bit of that excess oil and then we’ll be ready to serve them up.

I’m going to do two eggs, add those to the lentils in the walnut but a teaspoon of oregano, two teaspoons of cumin poke, two teaspoons of mustard. Add a lot of garlic about 12 cloves minced about a cup and a half of onion. That’s all dice but diced herb finely minced about at the onion. Some wheat germ, wheat germ acts as a binder .so that’s sort of your filler for it binds everything together and you can do bread crumbs but the wheat germ is really nice because it has a lot of protein.
I want to add about 3/4 a cup of milk. I modernize cow milk but you can use rice milk or soy. The milk just adds actually a softness to the burger creates that crispy outside and then the softness in the middle. You want to add about 2 tablespoons of olive oil. I’m sure it helps with the cooking process definitely the cooking process the non-sticking process of the burger. When you’re frying it and just the binding of the burger the finishing touches, of course, are always a little result. Just a grind with some fresh cracked black pepper. All these ads definitely a beautiful thing and then you just want to mix it up until all the ingredients. it’s time to form the burgers. Take a spoonful of ingredients the partner mixture. Just kind of roll it in my hand with no ball and then just Pat it down looks like about the size of a tennis ball but the size of tennis going .you just flatten it and just put on some wax paper.
